Okay, so I haven't been posting on my blog in a loooong time! It's time for redemption and a turning of a new leaf. I'm going to do better. Enough said!
Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I loved Christmas as a child, but I truly LOVE Christmas now that I have children. The wonder, awe, excitement and joy of a child. Maybe that's why Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me." Children see through eyes of wonder and Jesus knew that. I'm trying to see through childlike eyes this Christmas. I'm trying to look at Jesus as a child would. Here's an example from today: Micah and I were making Christmas sugar cookies today and I just in passing mentioned Jesus' name. Micah suddenly sang out, "I love you, Jesus!" Then he proceeded to kiss the air and told me to "kiss Jesus too." I blew kisses to Jesus this morning. That's the awe, love, and joy I want to permeate me this Christmas season.
