There are times in my life that are set to music. For instance, I can remember dancing to "Lady in Red" while wearing a red gown at a high school party. I remember listening to "Life is a Highway" while cruising around with friends. I remember almost every song on the lullaby cd that played in Anna's room for the first three years of her life. (No kidding.) And today a revelation that this time in our family's life can be marked by kid's music...specifically the band Milkshake. Over two months ago I checked out a random cd at the library. I vaguely knew one of the songs on the cover and thought, "Why not." Well, after having renewed the cd once and literally listening to it everyday for two months it has become our song of the season. The cd is titled "Bottle of Sunshine," and with fun songs like "Boom, Boom," and "Woo woo," to thoughtful ones like, "Smile," and "Book of Dreams," Milkshake has become a van favorite. That is until today...we had to return the cd to the library. Micah cried the whole way home, "I want Milkshake!" It was not enough to say that we could check it out again the next time we went to the library. I think I'm going to have to buy it. So Lisa and Mikel of Milkshake I thank you for making us "Smile" and giving us a theme song for "Rainy Days." We love Milkshake!
